Note: In 2013, my corporation, Alternate Scene Productions Inc., was hired by Champlain College’s Continuing Education department for its social media consulting services. This led to me personally working close to Champlain’s Continuing Education staff, primarily in support of their Recognition of Acquired Competencies (RAC) services. Though I’m not employed by the college, I do feel I’ve become somewhat of a spiritual member of their team. Today, I’ve decided to share a blog post that I wrote for the college, one which promotes their RAC services, originally written for a Spanish-language website. The post was an absolute pleasure to write as it summarized everything that I loved about their services. I’m sharing it here today because I think it gives good insight into what I do for a living outside of this blog,…
An update on my progress, which, as you can now tell, I’m not enumerating anymore. Gotta keep this short and sweet, so here’s the gist of it: good news for my Hal-Con 2013 and Dragon Con 2013 interviews. Also, one technical issue fixed on my website. And here’s a friendly list of all the stuff I added, changelog-style: Added four Hal-Con 2013 interviews: Changed how YouTube videos were being loaded so they have a higher chance of being viewed across all browsers and mobile devices. Previously, the videos wouldn’t load correctly on iOS (iPhones).
I felt like giving you all a quick update on what’s been going on. In this quick vlog video, I explain how I plan to approach my work in the future, I mention my status regarding my interview footage, and I give thanks to the people that supported me in getting to this point. In short, exciting things are ahead. Recommended Shawn Achor: The happy secret to better work Chris’ YouTube Channel: Wormeck Gaming
People of the internet, hello! How are things? Good? Everything shiny? Glad to hear. On my side, I’m happy to the report numerous new additions in this update. One exciting little tidbit is that I’m down to one last Dragon Con 2013 video, and though it’s not fully finished yet, it will be ready quite soon! I’m also set to attend another convention, shortly, and that’ll mean more interviews in the near future. In fact, overall, I’m ramping up production in all of my content creation plans. It’s an exciting time! Added four Hal-Con 2013 interviews: Steampunk Beast Big Bird and Evil Elmo Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear (Attack on Titan) Robin Added the second part to my Portal 2 Let’s Play series.
