Canadians Brace for Impact

It’s been a while now that I’ve been observing the news, especially those written by Canadians outlets. And one thing that gets on my nerves from time to time is when I see articles written with a heavy Canadian bias in relation to world affairs. Consider a CBC article from today, as an example: Yes, let’s focus on the minority of Canadians bracing for impact rather than the massive numbers of Bahamians and Americans facing that same danger – that’s a great idea. The news of Hurricane Dorian makes me immediately concerned for everyone affected…. whether they are from the United States, the Bahamas, or Canada is completely irrelevant. Recognizing Work and Life Experience

Note: In 2013, my corporation, Alternate Scene Productions Inc., was hired by Champlain College’s Continuing Education department for its social media consulting services. This led to me personally working close to Champlain’s Continuing Education staff, primarily in support of their Recognition of Acquired Competencies (RAC) services. Though I’m not employed by the college, I do feel I’ve become somewhat of a spiritual member of their team. An Update On The Interviews (Hal-Con 2013 and Dragon Con 2013 Complete!)

An update on my progress, which, as you can now tell, I’m not enumerating anymore. Gotta keep this short and sweet, so here’s the gist of it: good news for my Hal-Con 2013 and Dragon Con 2013 interviews. Also, one technical issue fixed on my website. And here’s a friendly list of all the stuff I added, changelog-style: Added four Hal-Con 2013 interviews: Changed how YouTube videos were being loaded so they have a higher chance of being viewed across all browsers and mobile devices. Previously, the videos wouldn’t load correctly on iOS (iPhones).
